3. Local Data Collection and Storage
Most of your personal data is stored locally on your device using browser localStorage. We do not transmit this data to our servers.
Watch History: Records of videos you've watched, including timestamps and watch duration. Stored locally in your browser's localStorage.
Watch Progress: Your progress on individual videos (where you paused/stopped). Stored locally to resume playback.
User Preferences: Your settings including language preference, theme (light/dark mode), ambient mode settings, playback speed preferences, and other customization options. Stored locally.
Search History: Your recent searches within the app. Stored locally and can be cleared at any time.

Local Data: Data stored locally on your device (watch history, preferences) remains there until you manually clear it or uninstall the application.
Cached YouTube Data: Public YouTube metadata cached on our servers is automatically deleted within 24-48 hours to ensure freshness and minimize storage.
Analytics Data: If collected, anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 12 months for performance analysis and service improvement.
6. Your Rights and Control
You have complete control over your data in FocuzTube:

Right to Access: You can view all your locally stored data via the Insights dashboard and Settings page.
Right to Deletion: You can instantly delete all your data using the "Clear All Data" button in Settings. This removes watch history, preferences, and all locally stored information.
Right to Portability: You can export your watch history as a JSON file for use in other applications.
Right to Rectification: You can modify or update your preferences at any time through the Settings page.
Right to Object: You can opt out of analytics tracking (if implemented) through browser settings or our Privacy Settings.
6.2 Revoking Access to YouTube Data
If FocuzTube uses YouTube OAuth to access your Google account data (such as subscriptions or playlists), you can revoke this access at any time by visiting your Google Account Permissions page and removing FocuzTube from connected applications.
